The Cybrand/ HJS SMF-ER is the logical choice for light duty or applications with short term usage, owing to its modular construction and ease of cleaning.

 

The Easifit SMF is typically used on applications fitted with smaller diesel engines, where exhaust temperatures and running hours are very low. This filter is totally unique in the current marketplace as it incorporates the HJS Sintered Metal filter element, which is cleanable with a standard pressure washer and water.

 

 

Filter Element

 

• The only filter element that can be cleaned with water

• Consists of a series of sintered metal fins

• Flow of the exhaust gas is directed from the outside to the inside

• Black Soot Particles (PM10’s) are deposited on the surfaces of the fins

 

Filter Housing

 

• Manufactured in T304 grade Stainless Steel

• Integral Backpressure gauge tells the operator when cleaning is required

• Further hardware options are available such as heat shields, portable frames, connection hoses etc

 

Installation

 

• Easy installation to the original exhaust outlet by means of stainless steel flexible exhaust pipe

• Tube adapter is made of stainless steel and customized according to customer requirements and the diameter of original exhaust.

 

 

Cleaning & Maintenance

 

 

• Cleaning is required if the exhaust back pressure in the filter has reached the upper limit. This is clearly displayed on the integrated backpressure gauge

• Simply remove the filter using the quick-release clamps

• Cleaning is carried out using a standard Pressure Washer

• There are no special detergents required, just water

• No costly thermal regeneration, or off-site maintenance necessary

• Cleaning is typically completed in 15 minutes ready for re-installation

• Spare filter elements can be purchased if required
