The London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expansion in 2021 along with the introduction of several 'Clean Air Zones' throughout the UK will affect thousands of light commercial vehicle owners and operators, including the Ice Cream trade.

Cybrand AEC, in conjunction with HJS Emission Technology & Co GmbH offers retrofit SCR conversions that will elevate Euro 5 models to the required Euro 6 rating. We already have full Energy Saving Trust / ULEZ approval for a range of vans including models from Volkswagen, Mercedes and Renault.

SCR Retrofit is currently the most economically viable option available for many Euro 5 vehicles, without the added expense of paying a daily charge or selling and replacing vehicles. Euro 6 retrofit will maintain a vehicle's residual value and minimise capital losses. The Adblue injection technology incorporates a thermal heater element that ensures the exhaust gas temperature is optimised, even during sustained periods of idling common with ice cream vans.
